Privacy
What is collected
Nothing you type and nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no forms, no newsletter and no comments. The site sets no cookies, runs no advertising and carries no visitor analytics or tracking scripts.
The calculators
Every calculation runs in your browser. The values you set on a slider or type into a field are used to draw the result on screen and are never sent anywhere, stored on the page, or kept after you close it. Reloading a page returns it to its published defaults.
Server records
Serving a page requires the web server to handle the request, and in doing so it records ordinary technical details: the address the request came from, the time, the page asked for and the browser identifier your browser sends. These records exist to deliver pages and keep the site working. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they are not combined with anything else or shared for advertising.
Links to other publishers
Source links lead to other websites — journals, archives, agencies and news publishers. Once you follow one you are on their site under their privacy terms, which this policy does not control.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version replaces this one on this page with a new date below. Material changes to what is collected will be described here rather than made quietly.
Questions about this policy go to support@flatearthscience.org.
